We had a modern deluxe queen room with a good bathroom and real character. Excellent very central location really close to the centre of Franschhoek.- The guesthouse has a gorgeous garden with birds to watch while enjoying breakfast.

Its location is stunning & lovely, really close to bars and restaurants, a gorgeous garden and the shops, bars and restaurants of the town.

The room was nicely decorated and had all the amenities I needed, including tea and coffee making facilities and a refrigerator, and it had a great view of the mountains.

Great staff, always ready to help with anything you need. The room had AC and the views were stunning! 😊

The location of Roundhouse Guesthouse was beautiful and unbeatable, very close to the town's restaurants and the center of Franschhoek. It was relatively close to Protege Restaurant, which we enjoyed visiting a couple of times. We had a lovely stay on our holidays.

The location here is fantastic, within easy walking distance of the Huguenot Monument.

Dislikes and Worst Aspects: The proximity to the main road meant that we could hear the noise of heavy vehicles passing by, which was a bit bothersome at times, especially in the evenings.

Our stay at the Roundhouse Guesthouse was absolutely delightful. I can't stop raving about the incredible service we received. From the moment we arrived, we were greeted with warmth and kindness from Debbie and Lee, who made us feel like family. The attention to detail was impeccable, with special touches like a complimentary bottle of wine, fresh milk in the fridge, and even a teddy bear on the bed. The breakfast was superbly presented and delicious, and the overall comfort of our accommodation was top-notch. The "roundhouse" room with its tall thatched roof was charming and had excellent facilities. We also appreciated the convenient location, although there was some traffic noise from the nearby main road. However, this minor inconvenience did not detract from our overall experience. I highly recommend the Roundhouse Guesthouse for a memorable and exceptional stay.

Great location, right on the main street near all the restaurants, yet away from the hustle and bustle. Close to the restaurants, Franschhoek Pass, and the beautiful roundhouse. 🏞️

I had a truly wonderful stay at this hotel. The location was ideal, as it was just a short walk into the village where there were plenty of great restaurants to choose from. The hotel itself was bright and airy, and the service provided by the staff was exceptional. From the moment I arrived, they were friendly and welcoming, ensuring that I felt right at home. The breakfast served each morning was absolutely delicious and gave me the perfect start to my day. The hotel also had a lovely swimming pool and outdoor area, which was great for relaxing and enjoying the beautiful surroundings.

The venue is quaint and nice with competent staff. The restaurant food is excellent, and the breakfast offered is exceptionally good with yogurt and fresh juice and cooked dishes.We will be back to have once again a wonderful trip.
